How it started...
It all started when God called us to an abandoned building that had been lived in and vandalized by squatters for 2-3 years. With very little money in the bank and a whole lot of Faith in God, we purchased the building on May 10, 2024. As we walked through, we noticed that there was a lot of work that was needed to restore God's house. The roof had severe damage and was leaking. Plumbing throughout the church was deplorable. All of the electrical panels had been completely dismantled with wires stripped and randomly cut throughout the building. There was animal & human feces ground into the carpet, vents and smeared on walls...and we still said YES to God.
While underestimating the extent of work required to rebuild God's house, we gave ourselves 4 months to rennovate the building. Little did we know, the task was much larger than expected and required that we move our original launch date from September 1, 2024 to January 5, 2025. Eight months after we started we would launch!The number 8 represents new beginnings! And God chose us to start something new for His people.
With our new community members still top of mind; as we worked 7 days a week, 12-16 hour days to restore, what is now Equip Church Intl, we also knew that our community needed a reminder that God was still mindful of them. So 3 months after the purchase, we hosted a community wide cookout on 4th of July 2024. Then again on September 21, 2024, we hosted Hot Dogs & Hygiene. At both events we were able to love on God's people, pray for God's people and feed God's people. The bible reminds us, that what we do for the least of them, we've also done it unto God.

Expanding the vision...
Outreach and truly loving on God's people is apart of our DNA. The Word of God tells us "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. " Matthew 25:40 NKJV. Feeding, clothing, Equipping, and loving of those is what we are called to do.
Equip is more than just preaching, it's also showing those around us that God is love! God cares inspite of the situations we find ourselves in! God is a Restorer and is not a respector of people! He LOVES us ALL.

Where we are headed...
Our goal is to Restore God's community one soul at a time. And we will do that through:
1. The preached Word of God.
2. Teaching and Equipping HIS disciples with the Word of God.
3. Delivering those who are bound with demonic spirits that want to be delivered and set free.
4. Leading them to Christ through repentance, prayer of salvation and water baptisms
5. And letting them know that they too can be filled with the Holy Spirit; which gives them power. It's free to all who believe.
